How Our Swimming Pool Construction Works

The salesperson in charge of your pool design will go over the layout for your entire backyard to ensure that the pool will fit seamlessly and look fantastic. We will make any changes well in advance of actual construction and be sure to answer any questions you may have along the way.

On the day that construction begins, the crew will mark where the pool should go in your yard and use an excavator to remove the dirt. The crew will get the excavated land into shape and ready for the polymer walls of the pool itself.

From there, the polymer walls are put into place, bolted down into a system, and prepared for the installation of the concrete footer. This is also when the plumbing for pool circulation is set up. Fiberglass will then reinforce the shape of the pool.

A foundation layer will be added to the floor of the pool; the foundation layer is made of a 2” to 3” mixture of sand and cement. It’s then smoothed out before the vinyl liner is applied. This liner is where you can give your pool a customized look by choosing from a wide variety of patterns and colors.

The last step, of course, is filling the pool with water. By then, the crew will have already installed the plumbing and back filling. Once your pool is constructed exactly as you’d like, you can begin to consider other elements, such as a deck, fire pit, built-in BBQ grill, or outdoor kitchen.

We Offer Free “Pool School”

Our crews will ensure that you aren’t left with a pool you can’t take care of. We offer free pool school sessions to educate new pool owners on all the topics and procedures they need to know. We’ll cover how to operate pool equipment, how to test your water, and how to keep the structure of the pool in top-notch condition. Of course, you can always get in touch with us if you have any further questions after pool school is over.

We can bring pool school to your home if you’ve recently bought a house that came with a pool. Pool school is held on a recurring basis, so you can always give us a call if you’d like to come to the next session in our showroom.
